I am Mike Newton, an artist living in New York City. This blog will be a space for me to post artwork, criticism and work-in-progress, experiment with ideas and revisit old projects and concepts.

The name of this blog, “Minus Objects”, comes from a series of artworks by Michelangelo Pistoletto. More info on that here.

The script typeface that appears throughout this site is a custom font based on my handwriting. Site designed by me, adapted from the theme Blaskan by Per Sandström. Powered by WordPress.
